Home-Making is an art. It cannot be rendered merely mechanically. It needs a lot of emotions, understanding and of course a lot of serenity to realize its true meaning and significance. Any job done with passion will give you a lot of satisfaction. Home-Making is no exception in this case. When you treat the job of home making as a passion you have been looking for, you will not believe what immense satisfaction it will yield in your life. If it is done as a burden, it will obviously feel like one. I see no reason, why it is treated as a burden at times. I do not understand why we home-makers, at times, complain about the amount or volume of work during the day. I do agree that we tend to get stressed out although we are good planners. I do realize the challenges we face when things do not go exactly the way we wanted. But that is exactly when we must understand the true essence of being a home-maker. That is when we need to understand that we must not let go of the serenity of this process of home-making.

I believe, that once we assign some importance to our role as a home-maker, only then we have that extra weightage to carry on the same with some extra zeal. It is the amount of importance that we attach to ourselves as home-makers that will determine how we treat it. That is why it is important for us to know that "I am the Boss". Yes, You are the Boss. In this beautiful journey of Home-Making, know that you are the Boss.

Being a Boss means a lot of responsibilities. It means you are answerable to your own self in all your tasks during the day. Because you are the employee too in this job. Sounds tricky but that is the reality of Home-Making.

Always have your resources functional enough to execute the tasks of the day with utmost ease. Be very smart as to how you prioritize your tasks and do not give any room for excuses. I am not saying be harsh on yourself and stop caring for yourself. But remain answerable to yourself and that will keep you on guard and on alert as well to accomplish your tasks efficiently, no matter how mundane it might appear.
