Importance of having Planners as a Home-Maker.

Image
Being a Home-Maker needs more planning than any other job on earth. The job of a home-maker is not confined to a particular project that lasts for a few months or days. It is an ongoing and never ending project of a life time. And this job is more important because the routine and diet of the entire family depends on how efficiently the home maker plans all her stuff to keep her home absolutely functional.  So, the next time if anyone tries to tell you that you are just a home maker, why do you need a planner, then i guess you need to be the boss and take the situation under your command and enlighten the person who is trying to demean your job. To put it in more simpler terms, let me give you the example of everything in the universe that goes according to a certain plan. The sun comes on time. Sets on time. The seasons come and go on time. There is a certain pattern of planning behind this entire process. Imagine if anything goes even slightly against the planned schedule. We k

Every thing in life needs a good amount of planning if you want to ensure zero stress and confusion. Home-Making is no exception. In fact this job requires more planning than any other job on earth! The major part of the home-making is cooking. Just imagine how important it is because in a way we home makers are responsible for maintaining the diet of the entire family through cooking. So needless to say that this job of course requires a lot of skills like planning and time management.  Imagine waking up in the morning with no planning done and heading towards the kitchen and then trying to figure out what needs to be done for the breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is so awkward and it can stress the home-maker out. It also in a way reflects how unprepared she is as a home-maker. Who wants to be in that awkward zone? So the only way out to stay away from such awkward situation is to stay well planned in advance. So, take the help of meal planning in such situations.  All you ne

The daily chores can be really tiresome, does not matter if you are living in a big or small home. Some home-makers hire a maid for these tasks. But that does not make their job any easy. They will have so many other things to take care, in order to keep their homes completely functional. Ladies like me, who cannot tolerate the tantrums of the maid, choose to do all the tasks on their own. Getting a perfect maid in India is a myth. Some times, hiring a maid is so exhausting in terms of finance and also monitoring their work. So, as i just mentioned, ladies like me are more than happy to sacrifice the services of maids who are nothing but headache to us finally. So, when you know that you need to run this one lady(man) show, you must have a concrete planning about how you handle and manage the tasks efficiently. You must also make sure that you do not tax your health in the process. I highly recommend in investing on some efficient appliances when it comes to cleaning of th

Someone who was a new acquaintance to me asked a very casual question the other day. She asked, "Do you work?" And i was shouting out loud inside, "No! Not Again!" Because this is one question that i hate the most. I wanted to just answer her bluntly and impolitely with all the frustration within me shouting out loud to be just vented out and say, "Yes! I do. How do you think my home runs in complete functionality, without me working towards it?" But then, my reply was : "No, I am a Home-Maker". Sadly, this is the mentality of some people in our society. If a lady opts to go out for a job and gets some financial earnings, only then it is termed as "work". Otherwise it is as good as you don't work. How fair is this kind of mentality? A lady who readily chooses to stay at home and give complete attention to everyone else's needs and build a beautiful foundation for their day is termed as someone who doesn't go to wo
